”You are what you eat”. You must have heard this saying. I am convinced that quality ingredients, moderation and making food enjoyable is the key to better well being.
Eating right foods affects your mood and energy levels as well as your health. Treating yourself to something special once in a while is important too, because living should be enjoyable. And you should never feel guilty or negative about what you’re eating.
Cooking doesn’t need to be a chore. Planning however is crucial so that you don’t reach for the most convenient in your food delivery app of choice or keep snacking all day long. Adults shouldn’t need to snack, but it can be beneficial to kids, as they grow and need to keep up their energy levels.
My intention is to inspire others with my recipes and ideas about eating. I don’t like to categorise my eating habits or the food I cook, but I guess you could say that the food my family and I eat is real, healthy – mostly organic and a lot of the time vegan. I don’t cook any meat, but I think fish* is good to eat. If you avoid processed foods and ready meals from the supermarket, you’re already well on your way to better health.
